The Vision Behind Velora

Hi, I’m Amy a SPMU artist, creative, & mum,

with a passion for helping women feel confident, beautiful and effortlessly glam every day.

My journey into the beauty industry actually started with creativity.

I originally trained and worked in graphic design, so I’ve always had a natural eye for detail, shape, colour & aesthetics. That creative side eventually led me to discover my love for makeup,

and I went on to work as a makeup artist for 10 years.

​

After stepping away from makeup, I spent some time working as a model. But after having my son, my priorities changed. I no longer wanted the lifestyle that came with modelling, and as a busy mum, I found myself looking for ways to feel good and look put together without having to spend lots of time getting ready.

​

That’s what ultimately led me to SPMU.

I fell in love with the idea that you can wake up every morning looking polished and feeling confident,

without having to spend time applying makeup. Whether you’re a busy mum, a professional, or simply someone who wants to make life that little bit easier,

SPMU can give you back precious time while helping you feel like the best version of yourself.

Alongside SPMU, I also offer Korean Lash Lifts and Brow Laminations, creating effortless, low-maintenance beauty that enhances your natural features and helps you feel put together every day.

For me, it’s not just about creating beautiful brows, lips or lashes.

It’s about creating results that feel natural, flattering and completely you.

My background in graphic design and makeup has given me a strong understanding of symmetry, colour, shape & facial aesthetics, while my own journey into motherhood has given me a real appreciation for the value of convenience, confidence and having a little more time for yourself.
